Who knew it could be this way?

The kids were out of school this past week off. Yes. Another week of no school!

And can you believe it? I actually took this week off! I spent all week with my kiddos. While it had its trying moments, it was pretty fun just hanging out with them.

What made it even better was when PD came into town Wednesday night. All four of us were able to just BE.TOGETHER.

Got me by surprise

Today as I was organizing my desk, I found out that our office has a toll-free number.

Wah-la!

I emailed the number to the PD just to let him know that he could use that number to call me during the day. This way he's not having to use his cell, you know?

Trying to be there

When my husband calls me, I try to be there for him.

Not just hearing his words.

Listening to what he says.

Listening to how he's saying it.

But when I'm caught up in my own muddled emotions, it's really hard to concentrate.

But I try.

Changes once more

In November, we had a RIF at our office. About 7 folks were let go. The DAY it was announced. 

In November,  I found out that there would be some restructuring in our office and that I'd be reporting to a new boss.

In December, I found out that our entire group would be moving back up to the main floor. The timetable for the move? The first week in January.

This week? I found out my new boss would be leaving for a new job. This caused the office to restructure once more and I would be reporting to a new person by the end of the month. 

I'll be on my 3rd boss in less than a quarter of a year. Can you believe it? Changes, changes, changes!
